Browser Game - Fisher Diver

Should you be preparing for a test right now? Are you stressed out? Or are you tired but don't want to go to bed yet. Then take a look at this...

I at least should pe preparing for a test right now. But that's not exaxtly my thing. And then I found this strangely looking Browser-Game in my Feed-Reader...

You play as Wheatley (from Portal 2) or at least something that looks exactly like him. You are on a boat. And you're supposed to jump into the water and "shoot" at fish. Those fish are elongated shapes that sometimes have stuff attached to them.

Wheatley apparently has left
the broad expanses of outer space
and landed in an abstract world.
At first I did not understand a thing. But little by little sparse information floats through the screen. It helps. And in the beginning it's exactly this what's so much fun: Finding out by yourself what's going on. And gradually understanding more and more about the game.

That's why I don't want to give too much away about it here. What I can tell you though is the following: It's a game that - not unlike Osmos -  builds on being relaxing. It celebrates slowness and you have to allow yourself plenty of time in order to score. By that and also through the music (again like Osmos) it has an enormously pacifying effect.

It would be best to give it a try yourself. Fisher Diver is free, doesn't have to be installed and runs in your browser. You don't even have to register.

So, let's go, jump into the water!
